What do Women Want? Tell Ford!

Submitted by admin on July 19, 2009 – 9:02 amOne Comment

I opted out of BlogHer this year because I wasn’t sure how our finances would be after the adoption fees and I really didn’t know if Gus would be able to handle being without his mama for several days (because, of course, he is attached to my hips and legs, and loves to pull my pants down if I don’t pick him up fast enough). But, luckily for me I get to escape the depantser for one lovely day and night because Ford Motor Company and BlogHer have invited me to the What Women Want: Tech & Quality Event in Chicago the day before BlogHer begins.

Admittedly, we are not a Ford family(my parents are)…I have always had Honda’s because well, I just love Honda’s. Hubby has always driven company Fords though and they are stripped down company cars (run great but no extras, right?). I can certainly tell you what I would love to change about those. And Ford is going to let me tell them.

50 + bloggin’ women will get to test drive the Fusion, tour the Ford Plant, and get to try the new Active Park Assist (good thing because I still can’t parallel park).

So tell me, what do you want in a car? I will be participating in a roundtable with Ford staff and can ask questions or pass along comments.

how fun!! Safety features aside, I want cup holders, cup holders and more cup holders….for cups, and also cell phones and other gadgets. Multiple places to plug in chargers. Places the kids can reach and access for their things. And a little man to live in my trunk, so I won’t ever have to pump gas or vacuum out the car again!
