I agree – we adult adoptees are left out of this. Adoption isn’t only about current children, and I feel like that’s what you’re implying by this. Believe it or not, kids do grow up…

What about something along the lines of kid’s views of adoption? As an adoptee, I’ve got an old post on some of my thinking of adoption as a child that I’d submit, if it’s OK to recycle old writings

As an adult adoptee, I would gladly participate. I’ve got some stuff that I wrote as a kid, that would definitely fit into this category.

I’m glad adult adoptees have spoken up, and I know they don’t need my support, but I have to say that one of the best things about the former blog carnivals was the inclusiveness.

My preference would be that you change the topic so that it is more inclusive. Here’s a suggestion if you choose not to change the topic — the next two topics should be ones only adoptees and first parents, respectively, can participate in.

I have to admit…I’m going to feel a little left out of this carnival as an adult adoptee. I suppose I could have a conversation with my inner child, but then I’ll just sound crazy.

Is there a way you can word the Carnival description so it’s all inclusive?
